Introduction:

Originally from Lima, Peru, I have resided in Seattle since 1996. I have been drawn to colors, shapes, forms, and inspired by my dreams and deepest feelings.These are the motivations that have inspired me to create since I was a child and continue to drive me today. I have an extensive palette of artistic interests and abilities, from oil, acrylic, watercolors,to the photographic image.

Awards:

2007: Quimbaya Award Centro Cultural Hispano Americano. For excellence, contribution and achievement in the advance of fine arts.
1991: Received honorable mention at the Images of Peru Photographic Competition sponsored by Union Latina.
1990: 2nd place award in the Inter-American Photo competition.
1989: 1st place Nueva Casa de la Moneda (Currency of the New House) engraving competition, sponsored by the Peruvian Central Reserve Bank. Selected to create new national currency for Peru.
1987: 1st place in National event to illustrate textbooks for rural school children, sponsored by FAO-Holland.
